In the late 80s, a small family business that would revolutionize the food service sector in Spain opened its first store in Madrid. At the time, pizza delivery was a growing phenomenon in the United States but something completely unknown in our country. Telepizza was taking its first steps and would soon become the pioneer and flag-bearer of the delivery sector, both within and outside our borders
A spectacular growth, with currently over 1200 points of sale; a strong brand image; a strategy based on a close relationship with our customers; and a clear commitment to product innovation and the use of fresh and natural products, are the hallmarks of Telepizza today.
Nor can we forget that we have been able to realize the mission we had set ourselves as a company of “at anytime, anywhere”. This challenge has always been guided by the premise of offering the best product with the greatest quality and at a competitive price, and which is reinforced in the current situation. The position of leadership we occupy in the markets in which we are present and how our customers value this are the best proof to show that we have succeeded.
At the same time, in the last years we have set ourselves another great challenge: to promote the internationalization of the company. A process that begun in the early 90’s, with operations in other European countries like Poland and Portugal. Then came Chile, Central America, Colombia and Peru in Latin America, and the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East. All of them are part of an ambitious expansion policy which we are sure will become one of the pillars of Telepizza’s mid and long term strategy.
I would like to point out that, for us, Telepizza is a living project in constant evolution. We are convinced of the importance of having an offer and service that addresses the reality of each moment, which leads us to a permanent process of transformation and adaptation to the needs of consumers and markets.
In this sense, the Internet and electronic commerce have become one of the main strategic lines in Spain, Colombia, Guatemala, Poland, Portugal or Chile, and will soon become a reality in other geographical areas in which we operate.
We are aware that we live in a global World, in which the rules of the game have changed profoundly. Proven formulas no longer exist and, therefore, in Telepizza we are committed to reinventing ourselves everyday.
